ESCOKIDOS is seeking one part-time (20-hours per week) case manager.
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Executive Director and Case Manager Coordinator, the Case Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive case management services to families located in North San Diego county. The Case Manager will also assist community members and partners with promoting child abuse prevention services (CAPS), identify local resources for families, and advocate for families as needed in English and/or Spanish. Case managers work alongside families to identify goals to meet their needs. This may include: community resources and applications for housing, rental assistance, mental health, community health clinics, coaching caregivers, and assist in navigating complex systems to establish accommodations for youth to succeed.
Eligibility

Masters in social work or psychology preferred, with a minimum of one year case management experience.

A Bachelors in social work or psychology, with a minimum of two years case management experience will also be considered.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work independently and collaboratively on a team;

Excellent problem-solving skills:

Accepts flexible scheduling;

Demonstrates cultural competence when working with Latin or Hispanic families

Bi-lingual, required in English/Spanish.
